This morning I popped out of bed bright and early to meet a friend and do some run/walk intervals. This was the first time I put on my running shoes in about a year or so and it felt great to “just do it” as I have been talking about running again for awhile. I’ve done a handful of marathons in the past and used to be a serious (and seriously addicted) runner. Walking has been more of my speed and pace of life, but I missed actually sweating and yes, the runner’s high (it is real). My knee hurt after, but a little pain was okay,
That being said, I wanted to highlight this shirt design because it is one of my favorites and one of my best sellers, and it was featured in an Etsy marketing email earlier this year so I get a lot of “likes” and favorites. I believe it resonates with people.
What are you doing (or going to do) today that may be a bit challenging and out of your comfort zone so you can say tomorrow that you are “Stronger Than Yesterday”? Growth requires that we step out and up and “just do it” - whatever it is.
Tomorrow I will be able to say that I am indeed “Stronger Than Yesterday” as it relates to running. Maybe tonight I will try to read 10 pages in a book too so my brain grows some as I sleep. That’s another habit I am trying to develop - reading before bed (instead of streaming shows that are not that great). A wise man once told me that one should do the extra in the ordinary and not the extraordinary.
May you be STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY!
